CTD BEACH - NON-MOTORBOAT REGULATIONS
& REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
BOAT RACK STICKERS ARE SET TO EXPIRE AT THE END OF THIS SEASON,2023. However, it was discovered that there was a mistake made when they were printed; they were printed a year over what they were supposed to be. It has also been brought to our attention that multiple racks were given over and above the 2 per household limit. Starting 2024/2025 you will only be allowed 2 spaces per household. This will make it fair for the whole community given the high demand for rack space.
Please re-read these regulations as they have been refined in order to clarify the rules and regulations.
Boat Storage at all CTD Beach - Regulations:
· All boat racks belong to CTD, spaces are leased to community boat owners.
· Boat owners do not have a right but a privilege to use the racks.
· Boats must be stored at an assigned area in its designated rack when not in use.
· Boat owners may request which beach to keep their boat at but may not request specific locations in the rack at that beach. (Boat owners may only keep a boat at beaches they are permitted to use by the deed of their property.)
· No un-registered craft may be left at the beaches overnight.
· Boats must be stored on the rack in their assigned space.
· No other items are permitted to be stored on the boat racks.
· All registered and tagged boats must be returned to the boat rack at night and not stored on the beaches.
· Boat owners may temporarily modify their rack position with permission from the BRC so long as no damage is made to the original rack. (This means rollers or pads may be installed.)
· Rack positions are assigned and not transferable.
· Boats must be stored in the rack so that the registration sticker is clearly visible from the front of the rack.
· Un-registered boats and boats without current year stickers will be removed immediately. (Boat racks will be checked regularly for offenders.)
· A $100 transportation and storage fee will be charged before confiscated boats will be returned to owner. (This fee cannot be considered as a rack rental charge.)
· Non boat related items left on the boat racks will also be removed immediately and discarded. The CTD community is not responsible for such abandoned property.
· Boats that are left padlocked to the rack in such a way that others cannot access their boat will also be removed and charged $100 for transportation and storage.
